Xing joined KKDG in the fall of 2016, bringing to the firm some very diverse international experiences. Having both educational and work experiences in China and Germany, he is currently adapting his skills as he adjusts to the practice of landscape architecture in the United States.
Though Xing started with urban planning as his bachelor studies, he showed great interest in small scale environmental design during his vocational training and practice. He hence made his decision to pursue a Landscape Architecture degree in Germany after 2 years of work as urban planner.
Xing exhibited an artistic talent since a child, and now landscape design is providing him with as much joy as that of painting. Fluent in 4 languages and cultures (Chinese, Korean, German and English), Xing strives to merge these diversified elements in his design process.
Xing loves music and photography. In his spare time, Xing loves to grab his camera and explore the San Francisco Bay area, where he starts his new life and challenges within the United States.
